What should you pack when going on holiday?

The hotels reservations are made, your travel tickets are safely stored, you have booked your heathrow airport parking, and so what else do you need to pack?

Here is a helpful list  of some essential items:

·    Passports (many holidaymakers turn up at the airport without passports)
·    Tickets
·    Hotel reservations
·    Holiday Insurance
·    Currency
·    Driving Licence
·    Luggage tags
·    Medications. Always remember to take a copy of your medical prescription
·    A spare set of spectacles or contact lenses
·    A small first aid kit
·    Insect repellents and cream. Vital if going to areas where mosquitoes are prevalent
·    Lip balm
·    Anti-itch creams
·    Your favourite deodorants and toothpaste
·    A small hair dryer (some hotels don’t bother to provide them).
·    For small children, baby food, creams and other supplies
·    Remember, small children needs lots of sun cream and insect repellents

Always check with your airline exactly what baggage allowance you have relative to your ticket, and keep yourself aware of the latest security regulations.
